Throwback Thursday #13

Throwback Thursday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by me and Stephanie @Bookfever where we feature books that we've read in the past but are still crazy about. It could be a book you read as a child and still remember and love or maybe just a book that you haven't read in a long time and want to show your love for. Each week we'll be featuring a new random question to answer!

  My pick this week:

Wings (Wings #1) by Aprilynne Pike

Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful - too beautiful for words.
Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.
In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever.

I love this book! The story is so cute and very unique ^^
One of the few books I actually bought in a store just because it was actually there and I had to have it. Luckily they had the flower cover (Like on the picture) which I love, it's gorgeous.

“And do you really think someone's going to look at you and say, 'Hmm, I think that girl's a plant'?”

“I'll think of you, just like I promised.""And I'll think of you, just like I have every day," Tamani said.”

Had to take two, I also wanted a sweet Tamani one ^^

Question of the week:

What is the latest book you have bought?

The golden lily by Richelle Mead just arrived today but the lastest I got is a preorder, Trust in me by J. Lynn (Jennifer L. Armentrout).

How about you?
Answer in the comment section!

If you'd like to participate in Throwback Thursday you can add your post to the linky below. Feel free to add a favorite quote of the book you're spotlighting as well in your post. :)
