Throwback Thursday #27

Throwback Thursday is a bookish meme hosted every two weeks by me and Stephanie @Bookfever where we feature books that we've read in the past but are still crazy about. It could be a book you read as a child and still remember and love or maybe just a book that you haven't read in a long time and want to show your love for. Each week we'll be featuring a new random question to answer!

My pick this week:

Destined for an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost

Her deadly dreams leave her in grave danger
Since half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her undead lover Bones met six years ago, they've fought against the rogue undead, battled a vengeful Master vampire, and pledged their devotion with a blood bond. Now it's time for a vacation. But their hopes for a perfect Paris holiday are dashed when Cat awakes one night in terror. She's having visions of a vampire named Gregor who's more powerful than Bones and has ties to her past that even Cat herself didn't know about.
Gregor believes Cat is his and he won't stop until he has her. As the battle begins between the vamp who haunts her nightmares and the one who holds her heart, only Cat can break Gregor's hold over her. She'll need all the power she can summon in order to bring down the baddest bloodsucker she's ever faced . . . even if getting that power will result in an early grave.

Yet another awesome Jeaniene Frost read. As always it's filled with action and bad ass vampires fighting along with some funny dialog and amazing characters.

Quote:

“He f**ks even better than he looks”, I settled on saying. Several heads turned. I didn’t care; I was pissed. “And that beautiful face is going to be clamped between my legs as soon as we get home, don’t you worry.”

Had to choose this quote. It's such a hilarious moment!

Question of the week:

Which author have you read the most books from?

It is actually Jeaniene Frost. All of her Night Huntress books plus her Night huntress World adds up to 12 books by her.
Richelle Mead and Cassandra Clare is close though with 9 books so far.

How about you?
Answer in the comment section! If you'd like to participate in Throwback Thursday you can add your post to the linky below. Feel free to add a favorite quote of the book you're spotlighting as well in your post. :)

Next Throwback Thursday question for June 12:

Picture time! Take a picture the book you're reading right now anywhere you

want.
