Book Tag: 7 Deadly Sins

Thanks to M @ The Life of Little Me!

How it works:

There's seven questions, each representing a 'sin' and I have to answer each 'sin' with a book(s).

Okay, here goes...

1. Greed - What is your most inexpensive book?  What is your most expensive?

Most Inexpensive one is probably Fifty shades of Grey, I got it on a danish webshop for 3.37$ and even with free shipping so it was crazy cheap.
Most expensive is probably Breaking Dawn, but I didn't buy it myself so I actually don't know how much it was- it might have been around 67$. My stepmom bought it for me at the bookstore when it came out so the price was really high that much I know.

2. Wrath - What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Hard one... I kind of love/hate Stephenie Meyer, but as the time has gone by maybe it's mostly hate due to the fact that I love love love The Host and there is still no sequel. Without even having read the last one I also think I can add Veronica Roth to the list. I just know what happens in the last and I hate it and it pretty much got me to just skip the last book and not read it at all. I just feel like with Dystopian books, the characters with everything they've been through it's not like their life is gonna be easy after everything is done so killing them- and the way that this happened- I think is too much. To me it makes no sense.

3. Gluttony - What book have you devoured over and over with no shame?
Well, I've read The Host by Stephenie Meyer over and over many time, but that was also a time when I didn't really have much else to read. Now I have so many books to read that it's hard to re-read certain ones. That being said I've sort of re-read - with reading certain parts and skipping others or going over them pretty fast- both some of the Night Huntress books by Jeaniene Frost and Wait for you by J. Lynn.

4. Sloth - What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
I have some books borrowed from a friend that I still haven't gotten to. One is the the Spook's curse by Joseph Delaney and also I have Niceville, but in danish and another danish one. Spook's is laziness the others are because it's hard for me to want to read in danish.

5. Pride - What book do you talk about most in order to sound like an intellectual reader?
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen I guess I have the whole big book of Jane Austen stories and that's the only one I've ever read and only because it was for school. Wish I could get myself together and actually read them all.

6. Lust - What attributes do you find attractive in male or female characters?

The girls I like strong and independent, willing to stand up for what they believe in, quirky and fun.
The guys it really depends on what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes I want that all over alpha male that knows what he wants and takes it. Other times i like the sweet and calm ones. No matter what they gotta be strong and smart and kind even if it's the bad guy.

7. Envy - What book would you most like to receive as a gift?
Right now the book I really want is the Book of Life by Deborah Harkness. I'm dying to know what happens in the last one, but it's one of those books that cost a bit much and stays that was for a while. The key is patience with this one for sure.

  2. I realized I have a more perfect answer than the one I have for this one: What book would you most like to receive as a gift? Should be: a book where all characters that I love can jump out and keep my company. lol
