Throwback Thursday #16

Throwback Thursday  is a weekly bookish meme hosted by me and Stephanie @ Bookfever  where we feature books that we've read in the past but are still crazy about. It could be a book you read as a child and still remember and love or maybe just a book that you haven't read in a long time and want to show your love for. Each week we'll be featuring a new random question to answer!    My pick this week:  The Spooks Apprentice by Joseph Delaney (also known as:  Revenge of the Witch  (The Last Apprentice / Wardstone Chronicles #1)) The Spook's Apprentice is the first book in Joseph Delaney's terrifying  Wardstone Chronicles  - over 3 million copies sold worldwide! 'Someone has to stand against the dark. And you're the only one who can.' For years, the local Spook has been keeping the County safe from evil. Now his time is coming to an end, but who will take over? Many apprentices have tried . . . Some floundered, some fled, some failed

He devoted his life to music, and from that devotion harvested a new family—his band mates and fans. A man can desire nothing else…or can he? Living in the shadow of her brother’s fame sucks! Sam Collins is desperate to have what she wants—a simple and uncomplicated life. She’s no stranger to scandals and how they work. Now that she’s inadvertently dragged Fang into the center of her latest gossip, could the scandal she created in her quest for freedom have gone too far? Amid stardom the heart sta

Feature & Follow  is a weekly meme hosted on friday by  Parajunkee  &  Alison Can Read  to gain new followers and make new friends! Activity this week: Bookselling Time: Go to your biggest bookcases. Go to the second shelf from the top and pick out the sixth book from the left. Handsell that book to us - even if you haven’t read it or if you hated it. (if you don’t have bookcases, done have six books on one shelf, etc, pick a book at random)  That would be.... Nightshade by Andrea Cremer Nightshade is the first of 3 books in the series.  Besides from the gorgeous cover to make you look twice this is one of my favorite werewolf books. It has everything! Great characters, the evil guy to hate, forbidden love and a heroine who's not winy- which gives big points in my opinion. So if you love all of that.. read it!  Say hi in the comments and leave me a link to your post :)

Each week we'll be featuring a new random question to answer!     My pick this week:  Halo by  Alexandra Adornetto An angel is sent to Earth on a mission. But falling in love is not part of the plan. Three angels – Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, the youngest and most human – are sent by Heaven to bring good to a world falling under the influence of darkness. They work hard to conceal their luminous glow, superhuman powers, and, most dangerous of all, their wings, all the while avoiding all human attachments. Then Bethany meets Xavier Woods, and neither of them is able to resist the attraction between them. Gabriel an
