Review: "Dark Lover"
Dark lover by J. R Ward.
In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger Brotherhood.
The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed-leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate-Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams.

My rating:
So.... I loved the storyline of this book and everything, but... there were parts that were hard for me because I hate, hate, hate changing POV. And it kept happening and there are books where I can deal with it because it actually makes sense and it's characters that you already know so it feels nice to get into their head for a moment.. but this! it didn't make sense! I DO NOT want to know what the bad guy is up to! What's the fun in that?! Me knowing everything that's going through his mind. NO! wrong I tell you! And it ruined so much of this book for me. I haven't even started on the second because it annoys me so much and I know it'll be same once again. It's such a shame because I love the storyline, it's well written and everything except for changing POV all the time. *sigh*
So the good stuff - all the brothers were awesome and I will look forward to get to know them all in the next couple of books.
