Review Obsidian

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.

I deleted some of the text since I really don't think people should read it. It tells too much instead of us being surprised over what happens.  "the secret" is not exactly one os the first things going on in the book and what Daemon and Dee is, it's all out there pretty much, but I choose to avoid it now, at least until the next review. Well, on to the review, I'll try to explain how awesome it is without telling too much about what's going on in it.

My rating:

That cover...

The book..

I loved every single part of it! It's one of those books where you just can't seem to stop reading when you have it. And the writing was so good!
And Daemon is just..
*sigh* Drool worthy.
"Beautiful face. Beautiful body. Horrible attitude. It was the holy trinity of hot boys."

Even though he can be a complete ass ;D But of course who can resist him! Him and Katy's banter was so much fun !

“Stalking me again, I see. Do I need to get a restraining order?”
“In your dreams, Kitten.” He smirked. “Oh wait, I’m already starring in those, aren’t I?”I rolled my eyes. “Nightmares, Daemon. Nightmares.”

& another one:
“What’s your blog’s name?” “None of your business,” I said, smiling sweetly. “Interesting name.” He returned my smile with a half grin. “So what do you blog about? Knitting? Puzzles? Being lonely?” “Ha. Ha, smartass.” I sighed. “I review books.”

Katy is so funny and awesome ! She's not whiny or weak, she's strong and stands up to Daemon not taking any of his s***
Another thing is how she goes crazy over books just like the rest of us, gotta love that. She even has a blog, "Katy's Crazy Obsession".
Daemon has a sister, Dee and he does everything to keep her safe and that means keeping her away from Katy. Daemon doesn't want Katy to know about their secret.
And when she finds out... things get bad.

After reading this I had the worst book hangover. I didn't know what to do, except that I needed to get my hands on the next book so I could find out what happened next.
A must read!

And now some awesome things from the book:

Cracked-out Tinkerbell, haha.

Brain candy. Love that expression, I will now use that whenever I want to read my books that are not for school :P
