Review: "Meeting Trouble" by Emme Rollins

Meeting Trouble by Emme Rollins

Sabrina can’t believe her luck—she’s always dreamed of front row seats to see her favorite band, “Trouble,” but when she bumps into lead singer, Rob Burns, and he invites her backstage, she finds herself hoping her luck doesn’t run out—and that maybe, just maybe, all her dreams will come true.

Warning: This full 45,000 word novel the ultimate fantasy come true when a female fan meets a sexy rock star guitar god with enough pluck to make the g-string on your Stratocaster quiver for days. (Note: This title was originally published as “Happy Accident”)

My rating:

Once again an amazing book by Emme Rollins. I've been obsessed ever since I read Dear Rockstar so when I heard about Meeting Trouble I was really excited! Another rock star book! Could it get any better?! Can never go wrong with one of those.

Meeting Trouble is about Sabrina who's been a fan of the band Trouble for forever and we start out when her and her friend Katie have front row seats to one of their shows, but they have one big problem, they can't get in. Sabrina's dream is waiting on the other side of a locked door. She would never have thought that bursting out of that door is thé Rob Burns. Lead singer of Trouble. Her night turns out way better than she could ever have imagined. A promise turns into so much more.

As it's a short book things move along pretty quickly, but there's still time to feel the chemistry between Sabrina and Rob. Even though things move quickly with them and one weekend quickly becomes more you still see that there is ground and reason behind it and that even in the short time they've known eachother they actually get to know eachother which makes it more believeable.
It might seem pretty crazy that all of the things they go through and their relationship move so fast, but come on. It's a book and hey a girl can dream. So I was really happy with the book. There were some great characters, Sabrina as the maincharacter were easy to follow, Rob was the hot rockstar and then there were Sabrina's fun friend Katie.

Now I don't wanna give too much of the plot away as it is a short book and don't wanna spoil too much.
Overall a great story and a quick sexy read about a girls dream coming true and then some.

“What I know is that I want you. It’s constant now. I want you, want you, want you. Like a drumbeat. I can’t help it. I can’t stop it. That would be like stabbing myself in the heart.”

"No. I wanted to be a pirate. Or a ninja. Or something involving big swords."

"What does your heart say?""Thump thump," I replied with a smile.

"Just say the word. I can make all your dreams come true." "That's a powerful claim." "I have magic sunglasses," he reminded me with a  grin.

About the author:

Emme Rollins is an up and coming author of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She’s been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor’s and a master’s, one of which she’s still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the “real world,” because when she isn’t writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives (bees are wonderful pollinators and Hello!? Honey!) and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer, Rodeo, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!

Emme loves hearing from fans, so feel free to use the contact page on her site to connect with her.
