Day 5: Worst book of 2013.

Lover Eternal by J. R Ward

I rated it 2 stars.. I know a lot of people love this series and so on, but this..  Really couldn't get into it, took me so long to finally get through the book because I was not gonna stop and that was good because towards the end where it kind of shifted to Zsadist it became way more interesting.

  1. Was it the first in a series? Sometimes first in a long series don't work for me. Like I love the Rizzoli and Isles books by Tess Gerritsen, but I didn't even like Rizzoli in the first book The Surgeon (although, to be fair, she was only a supporting character that first book and didn't become a lead until book 2). I'm glad it was worth it at the end, because it's frustrating to put in the effort for no payoff.

    1. Noo, this is the second book of the series. The first wasn't thát bad, I still didn't love it, but figured I should try the next, too. I'll read the third and maybe that'll be it :P
Never heard of those books, but i might check them out :)

  2. I've heard so many things about J.R. Ward, but I've never bothered reading any of his books. Maybe he's just too romance-focused of an author for my taste...although, it sounds like this one definitely isn't the book of his I should try first. Yikes...

  4. That is so funny. I look at this series all the time and the covers just turn me off so much that I could never bring myself to buy one even though so many people love them. I'm actually glad to see that there is someone out there not infatuated with this series.

    1. Glad I never had to buy them because I'm borrowing them from a friend, would have felt it was a waste of money. I am definitely not, I don't really understand the big fuss about them.

    1. Don't think I've read that. But my friend kind of told me what will happen in the next couple of books. I might stop after reading the 3rd book

  7. Z makes everything better!

Also it's funny how some people in these comments think J.R. Ward is a dude. xD
