Throwback Thursday #24

Throwback Thursday is a bookish meme hosted every two weeks by me and Stephanie @Bookfever where we feature books that we've read in the past but are still crazy about. It could be a book you read as a child and still remember and love or maybe just a book that you haven't read in a long time and want to show your love for. Each week we'll be featuring a new random question to answer!

My pick this week:

Mates, Dates and Cosmic Kisses by Cathy Hopkins

I loved these books when I was younger. Back when I still read in danish. I always used to get one from this series for my birthday. They were really girly and a lot of fun. I could definitely think of picking them up again one day just to see how it'll be to read them today.

Quote:

"Thursday night: no call.Friday morning: NO CALL.I'm going out of my mind. Perhaps he lost my number?""Perhaps saying he'd phone was a way of getting rid of me? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps."
So glad that the desciption of the book actually had a quote because there's not more on goodreads and I own the books in danish.

Question of the week:

Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?

Several. It's become really uncommon for me to only read one. There's mostly an e-book or something that's being read along with an actual book. How else is that reading list ever gonna get smaller? Haha.

How about you?
Answer in the comment section!

If you'd like to participate in Throwback Thursday you can add your post to the linky below. Feel free to add a favorite quote of the book you're spotlighting as well in your post. :)

  1. I prefer to focus on 1 fiction book, 1 non-fiction and maybe 1 audio at a time. I have read up to 3 fiction at one time but I get overwhelmed and confused.

Great post! I will try join in next time :)

  2. I have never heard of those books. But it looks cute! Lucky that there was a quote on the blurb!

"How else is that reading list ever gonna get smaller?" That is very true! xD
